Customer i-Check
Usage Terms and Agreement
Based on your email
authorization, i-Check will produce a
check or electronic debit for the amount
of your purchase which you indicate on the
i-Check. The i-Check will be deposited by
the merchant you are submitting payment to
(Computer Books Online) and routed to your
bank for payment, just like a check
written from your checkbook. Your bank
will include the i-Check with your regular
monthly statement information.
To use i-Check you must have a
valid checking account from a U.S., Puerto
Rican, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canadian
financial institution with sufficient
funds to cover this transaction. Payment
must be in US dollars. Canadian orders
must write for correct shipping fees
before using i-Check.
There will be a $20 fee or
the maximum amount permitted by law for
returned checks.
Check writer also responsible for all
other costs of collection.
Your usage of i-Check
for payment is your acceptance of this
agreement and its terms.
All i-Check transactions are SSL
encrypted and stored on dedicated secure
servers. All data contained within is
considered of a private nature and will
not be disclosed.

Directions to Using i-Check

i-Check transactions are secure and all
information contained within are subject
to i-Check's privacy
standards.
As a security measure, your IP address
will be recorded with your transaction. Check
fraud and fraud attempts will be reported
to the authorities and prosecuted to the
fullest extent allowed by law.
1.In the shopping cart area - choose
i-Check as your payment method.
2.Continue through the shopping cart
process to the "Thank you for you
order" page.
3. Write down the
total amount of your order and your order
number.
4.Click the link "Go To i-Check".
You will be taken to Computer Books
Online's i-Check page.
5. Enter the amount of
your order, plus all the necessary check
information. Example: 25.00 for
twenty-five dollars and no cents.
6. Take a check out of your check register
and write VOID across the
front of it.
7. Using the information on this voided
check, fill in your name and
address exactly as it appears on
your printed bank check.
8. Enter the check number
from the voided check into the i-Check.
This must be the actual check number (not
used previously on an i-Check) and not
less than three digits (place a zero
before check numbers smaller than 100).
9. Again, using the information from your
voided check enter the bank name,
city and state.
10. Enter the numbers from the
bottom of your check, from left
to right (if your check number is included
in this, do not enter it). Do not enter
the bank's symbols. Just the numbers. The
first set of 9 numbers is the bank routing
number it is always 9 digits. The second
set of numbers is your checking account
number. Use the symbols as a guide.
11.Now, to authorize the i-Check, enter
your full email address.
12.Click on the "Pay Now"
button to send your payment. To avoid
duplicate charges only click one
time.
13.Enter this check information
into your check register.
14.You will be sent an email notice
containing the details of this
transaction.

certain expectations regarding the
information we collect and retain about
you and how this information might be
used. Furthermore, we appreciate the
confidence you have bestowed upon us in
selecting i-Check as your payment method
and therefore want to inform you of the
steps we are taking to demonstrate that we
are worthy of your trust.
At i-Check, access to customer information
is based on the sensitivity of the
information and our employees' or agents'
need-to-know. Customer information
including email addresses, physical
addresses, banking information, etc. are
never given out to any third party.
Employees and agents are authorized to use
available customer information for
authorized business purposes only.
The information is transferred directly to
i-Check's encrypted transaction database
by means of SSL Secured webservers.
Interactive Technologies, Inc. is highly
selective in choosing unaffiliated
business partners that assist us in the
delivery of our products and services to
our merchants and their customers. On
occasion we may partner with unaffiliated
third parties to offer ancillary products
and services that may be of benefit to
you. When we enter into this type of
relationship, we require these partners to
adhere to strict standards regarding the
security and confidentiality of customer
information.
We strive to maintain honesty and high
quality in merchants that use our payment
system. If you have difficulties with any
i-Check merchant, lodge a complaint with abuse@i-Check.net
for immediate review. All complaints are
taken seriously and investigated. There
may be occasions where we are legally
required to disclose transaction
information to a governmental agency or
federal regulator, such as to prevent or
investigate potential fraud or investigate
poor business practices.
