About
Our Use of Cookies
|
|
Our cookies are just a shopper's code that is
saved in the browser. We can't retrieve information from
your hard-drive.
Our shopping cart program uses non-persistent cookies
to assign your browser a customer number. If you do not
accept the cookies, have them disabled, or use a browser
that doesn't support cookies, the shopping cart program
will still work by using your IP address.
Cookies are better, because they are based on a browser.
If you add an item to the cart and then have to get
off-line and then get back on to finish your order
(using the same browser), your browser will be
remembered (for 24 hours), where if you just used the IP
address, it is almost never the same two times in a row.
Also, some servers, like AOL, use proxy servers, which
can make you have different IP addresses in a single
session.
We have added
several Active Server Pages to our site. ASP uses
cookies, but you don't have to accept them. We don't
track them, or garner any information about you from
them.
