The Human Genome - Got Yours?

IN 2003, THE HUMAN GENOME PROJECT was completed, after 13 years and at a cost of $2.7 billion. Now, for just $999.00, a company called 23andme can decode your DNA.
Founded in 2006, by Linda Avey and Anne Wojcicki, 23andme will run your genotype, which can tell you the genetic markers you have for various diseases, traits, your ancestry, and family inheritances.
23andme has a very interesting ABOUT US page. It’s a slideshow and is about them, but it is also a good example of the kinds of things you can learn about you - if you have your genes done: More on Your Genes » » »
