Article Submission Information
Share your
knowledge with others
We are happy to consider your article for
publication here at Computer Books Online.
To be accepted, your article should add
value for our readers who are looking for
tutorials, information, and insights
related to computing, technology, or the
internet.
For an idea of the many subjects considered
to be related, see our categories, or our complete listing of
categories and
subcategories.
We do not
publish articles that are primarily
promotional in nature. Articles
should be more than just an ad for a
particular product; however, book or course
excerpts are welcome, or the theory and
principles that provide the basis for a
product, and the end credits can include a
product description with a direct link to
the product web site.
If your article is published, you will
receive a lot of good publicity, first
on this site, secondly on our forthcoming
blog which will be heavily marketed, and
with a possible mention in our newsletter.
Plus, all articles will contain a resource
box, which can include information about you
and your site or product, links to your
site, newsletter signup, etc., and your
picture.
Please submit original content only.
We use CopyScape to verify. We reserve the
right to edit a submitted article, but
usually only minor edits are needed for spelling,
punctuation, or readability, and any changes
will be sent to you for approval before
publication.
You will retain all rights to your article.
You may include a copyright notice in the
credits to the article.
To submit your article, please send
via email to
cbo@computerbooksonline.com
.
Be sure to
include:
- Your name
- Email address
- The article - including title, author,
the article itself, and any images
- Information you would like to have in
the resource box - brief biographical
information, your main products, web site,
contact email if desired, newsletter
details, copyright notice and your
picture, if desired.
All articles must be either included in the
body of the email, or attached as a text
file only. Word documents will not be
opened.
Due to the massive amount of spam we
receive, please make the subject line of
your email be Article Submission.
If pictures or screenshots are needed in
your article, please submit them via email,
with your article.
